Department of Urology and Kidney Transplant Surgery was established in the year 2016 AD after serving as a unit of Department of Surgery for more than 30 years.
With the vision of service, research, training and building a skilled urologist for the country, this department is providing comprehensive and efficient services for the management of urological problems for which patients had to travel abroad in the past.
This department has been ushering the advent of modern era in urology in Nepal and with the acquisition of modern technologies and complete range of state-of-the-art facilities we have been performing both minimally invasive procedures as well as open surgeries.
Located at Block E first floor, our Outpatient service runs in morning sessions on Sunday, Monday and Thursday and evening session on Tuesdays and Thursday.
Department is also running a three-year Residency Program: Magister Chirurgiae (MCh) in Urology and enrolling two residents per year.
